Synthetic fibres (Polyester, Acryl en Polyamide)
The best known synthetic fibres produced "from chemical products"
are polyester, acryl, polyamide. These fibres all have in common that
they are crease-resistant if washed correctly.
They do not shrink, are bacteria and mildew (weather) resistant, lightweight, and quick drying. Might generate electrostatic charge.
