Satin is a lustrous fabric, available in various grades and produced from various yarns. Satin is a collective term for all textiles woven in satin weave. This weave is achieved by weaving one up, and four down. The face of satin-weave fabric has a lustrous appearance. Satin-weave fabric has a soft drape.
